Ōmori

Ōmori, on Edo Bay a few miles south of the city, was known for growing nori — the sheets of seaweed still wrapped around rice balls and sushi. Two women work the cultivation beds from a boat, one lifting seaweed with chopsticks, the other raking it gently into baskets. The tip of another boat enters at the edge.
